Yulia Rytikova
I was born in 1988 in Ukraine, but grew up in Pyatigorsk and absorbed the identity of different cultures. Since childhood, she was fond of creativity, drawing and experimenting with painting techniques and techniques. Realizing that art is an integral part of my life, in 2020 I began to engage in creative work professionally.
Experimenting a lot with pictorial directions, techniques and materials, I found myself in mixed media, assemblage and work with volumes. I consciously avoid detailing, concentrating on simple minimalist forms and a certain color scheme, thereby focusing the viewer's attention on the dramatic and emotional content of the works.
Marina Abramovich, Rene Magritte, Frida Kahlo, Mark Rothko and the Russian avant-garde have had a significant influence on my work. However, my main inspiration is human feelings, emotions, moods and experiences in all their diversity.
Since 2020, I have been actively participating in various exhibitions, projects and performances.
The works are in private collections in Russia and abroad, as well as in the Foundation of the Moscow Center for Innovative Technologies in Healthcare, Moscow.
Since 2022 - Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia
